I am an Assistant Professor of Computer Science at Virginia Commonwealth University, where I direct the WAVE (World-Aware Vision & Learning) Laboratory and am affiliated with the Software Engineering (SE) Center.
My research lies at the intersection of artificial intelligence, computer vision, and data analytics, aiming at advancing responsible and efficient AI scaling across heterogeneous modalities and diverse applications.
I received my Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of California, Davis, in June 2026, where I was advised by Distinguished Professor Kwan-Liu Ma. Before that, I received my M.S. in Electrical Engineering from Washington University in St. Louis in 2020. In the summers of 2022 and 2023, I was a Research Intern at the Bosch Center for Artificial Intelligence, Bosch Research North America.
